The author: Elisabetta de Luca isn't unknown in the Coton world. Journalist, she's too a famous and well-known Coton (she has 18 years experience ) through the world, she has responsabilities in the Italian Kennel Club and she's also a FCI judge for the breed. So she knows what she's speaking about!

The book : Elisabetta (Eli) asked différent people through the world to write some book passages. It's one of the originality of the book which recaps the origins of the breed in several countries, giving us a general idea about Coton de Tuléar spreading since he leaves his orginal country : Madagascar. Notice too the book format which is original (A4 format landscape) and the quality of the paper which - according me- important and pleasant.

original Drawings done by Nadia Formicaare gorgeous. They are just in time to illustrated the standard (all the versions since the beginning are there) and many other columns.

Another originality the picture of the Cotonfrom which the first breed standard was based. At last and it isn't the less important, pictures are numerous with a great quality, those who love the Coton would appreciate for sure.

The only one "problem" can be for those which are not English spoken, because the book is written in English, but to be honest, even if we aren't specialists of Shakespeare's language, we haven't been bothered thanks to the quality of the wording and to the different drawings, pictures, tables,.... which are there to make explicit the text.

A"collector" that all Coton de Tuléar fanciers must absolutly have.
