Carol Lee Porter, realizes portraits of dogs in the USA. Thanks to Carol and Jeri, the owner of Naomie (portrait of coverage) to have authorized us to publish drawings. . One year ago, almost to the day, I got my first puppy. (I am old enough to be a grandmother, so never having had a dog may surprise you.) I had researched well the kind of dog I wanted and found the Coton to be exactly what I was looking for. I found a caring and knowledgeable breeder. (That really means she was very patient with all my questions and pestering.) Roki was born on July 7, 2000, and we brought him home with us on September 19, 2000. That event has changed our lives, all to the better. One event that occurred was a writer saw a portrait I did of Roki. She enjoyed it so much she called her publisher, and to make a very long story short I am now illustrating a book on dogs to be published some time next year.
