Little Mozart at 5 months
old
|
|
My search for an exceptional dog started in 1995. I was
searching for the "One". He would
be the one with which I would establish my breeding program..
Finally after much research, I decided my foundation male
was going to be a dog from Mrs. Cériez of Woodland Cottage.
I wanted a puppy out of her champion Qalamity "Kid"
of Woodland Cottage and her beautiful female P'Fatal Beauty
of Woodland Cottage.
On September 8, 1996 our beautiful Mozart was born.
We couldn't wait to go and get him, two months later, my
husband André flew to Belgium to pick up our boy.
Now, was the start of a wonderful life with an exceptional
dog. How little did we know that he would become a GREAT
CHAMPION &THE NUMBER ONE DOG IN AMERICA...and....THE LOVE
OF OUR LIVES! |
|
When Mozart arrived in Quebec, he immediately established
his place among the other dogs of the family. The females
understood that he was the "New kid on the block", and he
was going to be "the boss," or I might say, "Mommy's boy."
Less than a month had gone by when he had his first official
assignment to appear on a French TV show about dogs. It
was called "Noah's Ark". He had two little friends with
him: Annie-Rose de Montarville (owner Sylvia Jordan) and
Jean-Luc de Montarville (owner Diane Callison). All three
became overnight TV stars. This was to be Mozart's first
experience in public. No one knew at the time that many
other public appearances were awaiting him |

Mozart's first Xmas
|
|
|
Mozart's first Christmas was very memorable for us. He was
very happy to see so many gifts under the tree and being mommy's
boy, he really believed that they were all meant for him.
He would sit in front of the Christmas tree and sing. We knew
then he had inherited his daddy's voice..:o)))) But we didn't
know yet that he would follow his father's (Kid) footsteps
and become as famous as his old man!!!. |
|
Let's the show begin!!!!
|
Cherry Blossom 1997 at only 7 months old, Mozart already
conquered the judges eyes & and stealing the judges hearts!.
One judge commented that he had "everything it takes" to
be a great champion! It was also a special moment for my
husband, who showed Mozart, both of my men (André and Mozart)
looked so handsome in the ring & I was a VERY proud woman.
We also met so many nice breeders who have since become
our very close friends. |

During the 1999 show year with Mozart, I was fortunate
to have the opportunity to travel to shows with my boy. It
was very special that I was able to meet so many people. Warm
welcomes and the friendships that came from this year of showing
are special memories that I will always cherish. I would like
to thank all of those who encouraged me to pursue my goals
and helped me when I needed it.
I am very honoured and proud to own such
a dog. It is said by many breeders, judges and admirers
that Mozart is among one of the most beautiful, structurally
sound, well tempered Coton de Tulear. One of the most beautiful
and outstanding jewel his breeder has ever produced. I was
very proud to bring him to the top. It is the goal of breeders
to produce better dogs than what they are breeding from,
and Micky has done an admirable job in Mozart. Now Mozart's
offspring are heading for the show ring and I feel sure
that they will follow in their father's footsteps.
