We're meeting more and more cotons on agility course, where, we must say it, they are very good. Miss Dominique Mathieu, tell us about her "family passion". |
Agility is a canine sport where you meet obstacles numbered from 1 to 20 : tyre, footbridge, hurdles, jumps, broad jumps, see saw, fence and sure the hardiest one : slalom ! The round must be done for some time you must respect and of course without any faults ( hurdles falling down, zone faults, refusal). In France there are 44cotons permit-holding in agility 31 of which
are LOF registered (LOF is French studbook) As far as I'm concerned, Joy began his trainig when he was 8 months old and participated his first contest when he was 15 months old. a commencé ses entraînements à 8 mois et a fait son premier concours à 15 mois. He applied so much doing that, but we always had a lot of time penalties.
Sirius began when he was 4 months old. He hasn't the same temperament as Joy one, he is a go-ahead always happy and never afraid. As soon we are on the course he is deliriously happy, because he sees his girl friends : R'elle (Pyrenean shepherd) , Sax (Belgian shepherd) and so on.
See you soon for other news. Best doggy regards Ms MATHIEU
Dominique .
