Heidi Petran , sent us some other anecdotes regarding Mon Chéri, their little Coton de Tulear female. They live in USA. Everybody remember the first part of the histories of this little white fluffy ball . So go on for :

MORE ANECDOTES IN THE LIFE OF MON CHERI (part IV)

Stilmeadows Mon Cheri

Hello. I haven't been writing for a long time. Yet a lot has happened to me.The first thing is quite sad, but it turned out happily. My Papa Vlado had a tumor in the eye which was discovered last October. My mom had to take him to Boston for special treatment. The problem was what to do with me since I couldn't go along.Luckily, my best coton girlfriend lives right around the corner. Her name is Lady.

Do you remember her? I talked about her in my other stories. We love each other and get along well together. We only fight a little bit when we both want the same toy... but that is typical. Right? Well, I was able to stay with Lady for 20 days. Sure, I missed my Papa and Mom, but I had a good time on my "vacation". Mom packed my suitcase.

It contained my raincoat, my waterbowl, my food and my grooming articles and towels. She even brought my cage in which I sleep every night. Oh, it was nice to have Lady around day and night...we played...we walked...we snoozed...we did everything together

And Mama Greta and her daughter Jacqui were so sweet to me. At night I did not want to sleep alone in my cage. So I walked out and growled at Mama Greta. She lifted me onto the kingsize bed where Lady was already sleeping. I snuggled with Mama Greta and during the night I moved closer to the top, to be on a pillow. Jacqui was sleeping with us too. There was no room for their papa. He had to move into the guest room. Ha..ha...

Mom would call me every day, just to hear me bark. I did miss her and was very happy to be at home again with her. Papa Vlado got treatment for his eye and is fine now. There is a sequel to this story. From now on, I get to sleep on Mom's bed. No more cage for me. I snuggle real close to mom and in the morning I end up on the pillow next to her head. This is wonderful. I am very good and quiet in order not to disturb Mom. She needs her rest after she takes care of me all day.

I have my own email address: moncheriepetran@attbi.com. I was getting so much mail from other cotons that Mom decided it was time for me to have a separate address. Sir Oliver, my boyfriend from Maryland, still writes to me every day. Remember? I wrote about us in the last part of my anecdotes. He is two years now and very, very handsome. At the last two dog shows (Cherry Blossom Classic and Garden State Classic), he won many prizes and awards. He is such a gentleman that he sent me one of the toys he won: a big stuffed dog bone. He wanted to share it with me.JJ

Then I am corresponding with 2 coton families in Germany. One is Adriano (Basti is his nickname). He will be two years in August. Our birthdays are almost on the same day. Mine is the 16th and his the 17th. HE is allowed to go out without a leash and run in the fields and forests near his house.

The other cotons I write to are Biene and Aurelia. Biene is the mother of Basti and Aurelia; in other words they are brother and sister. They each have their own website. But they live about one hours drive away from each other. Yet they visit quite frequently and then the three of them play and run and tumble outside in the fields. And their humans are not even mad when they get very dirty. It only means another bath. The important thing is that they have fun. Their families go on vacation together and they always come along. Their last vacation was to Bibione in Italy. There they were joined by another brother Asterix. Look at the picture and tell me they didn't have fun.

I have to tell you something else. This past winter we had a couple of big snowstorms. The snow was so high that we hardly could get out of the door. And you know I am so little, I have short legs.

So my Mom went out with the snow shovel and dug out about five or six potty stations for me. And she had to do this several times because the wind would blow all the snow back. I have a good mom, don't I? I discovered I love the snow. I was allowed to play and jump in it. Of course, I wore my red boots and my red wintercoat. There was even a snowman with whom I made friends.

Needless to say, afterwards I was a big clump of snow and ice. But it was fun.

This is all for today that I have to tell. I lead a pretty exciting life, the life of a princess...my Mom always says. I love her sooooo much and she adores me.

Till next time, Mon Cheri
